Praise for Clover Lane Goes Global

From Australia's The Sydney Morning Herald:

From footstomping and chiming bells to fiddles and harmonica, Clover Lane is the folkiest, old schooliest, well-hush-my-mouth-and-pass-the-moonshiniest thing you'll hear this ... well, month. At a time where digging out the roots of Americana is being done wherever checked shirts are sold, you need to be a little bit special to stand out. The be-hatted and bearded (of course) Jonah Tolchin may yet be one. Springing from field and urban blues (Hybrid Automobile and Hey Baby Blues) to mountain toe-steppers (Midnight Rain and Atlantic Winds), but more often sitting somewhere between in a country/folk hybrid, Tolchin's songs aren't rough but they do sound like they've been worn in rather than just thrown on. More importantly they sound engaging from the get go and memorable soon after. 21st Century Girl and Diamond Mind are homespun and relaxed even as they get dark, Mocking Bird has energy and Motel #9 might remind you of the Band.
